Holiday Inn, Castle Marina

Brief:

As Skopos successfully completed the hotel’s last refurbishment, the hotel manager contacted the Skopos account manager to create a scheme for a trial room.  The brief was for full blackout with a splash of colour and the bed throws must be   washable.

Outcome:

The Skopos team put together a scheme using their knowledge and experience to create a room which fully fitted the brief.  Curtains were made up in   Nocturne Slate to give the full blackout required.  The splash of colour was added with a leading edge of Peru Atlantic.  Throws were co-ordinated in     Minerva Argent with the same Peru Atlantic border.  Fresh white full length sheers in Carina Ice were

included to ensure a light and airy feel to the room when the curtains are open.  The chair was upholstered in Caspar, a colourful modern check  design from the Moritz  collection.  For the executive rooms, Skopos  proposed the same scheme but with the Peru  co-ordinate in the Plum Colourway.

The trial room was a success and Skopos were tasked with the complete hotel refurb.  This is to be completed over 3 phases with the first phase completed in 2018.  The next 2 are in 2019 and 2020.
